Get Ready's Postsecondary Pathways Curriculum (grades 6-10) is a research-based, student-led exploration of personal and social identity, individual skills and interests, learning techniques for academic success, the world of career choices, and options for extending the education process beyond high school. Topical in design each lesson is about 50 minutes in length and each topic contains 3-5 lessons, with 18-22 lessons per grade level. To use this series, we recommend you download or request printed copies of the Teacher’s Guide and Student Workbook for the grade you will be teaching.
Built off of the Get Ready Postsecondary Pathways Curriculum this series has 10 lessons per grade level. All lessons have been developed in PowerPoint lessons and each lesson includes an option of a full 50- minute lesson or two 25-minute lessons. These PowerPoints are instructional and may be used in the classroom or virtually/distance learning. The student workbook has been translated into fillable forms that can be used electronically and/or printed-these are corresponding pages that students can use to process the information from the lesson and further their learning of the material. This popular ungraded 10 lesson series is built off lessons from all grade levels of the Postsecondary Pathways Curriculum Series. The Career Pathways Curriculum series is often used by youth serving organizations, Special Education transition programs, Alternative Learning Centers and other programs looking for a curriculum not limited to a particular grade level of students. To use this series, we recommend you download or order printed copies of both the Instructor’s Guide and Student Workbook for the Career Pathways Curriculum.
