Why Family Engagement?

Research has shown that when families are meaningfully and continuously engaged in their student’s learning and development, it has a positive impact on the outcome of a child’s health, academic, and well-being. This can be especially true in the success and accomplishments of their student’s education and postsecondary goals. All students can benefit from family engagement, especially those less likely to succeed academically.

At Get Ready, we see a partnership between the school, community, and the family as key to student success. Our Family Engagement programs and resources are available to support this critical partnership.
